What is the BEP Institute?
We are an organization that promotes the importance of continuity planning to the business, nonprofit and government communities by offering a wide array of programming and networking opportunities to help minimize disruptions.
When you refer to a "disruption," do you really mean a disaster like a fire?
Yes and no. A disaster, such as a fire or weather-related catastrophe definitely has the potential to disrupt your organization. However, there are many other events that can significantly disrupt your organization. Water main breaks, traffic accidents squirrels that chew through the electrical line are just a few disruptions to consider.
And a business disruption does not always come suddenly or even unexpectedly. Employee theft or employee retirement can disrupt your business operations as well.
